Purpose: Create a celebratory experience

Pre-teach: I want you to learn one move before we start, do it with me, let’s practice. We are going to jump and open your arms big and groove, then walk 4. Let’s do it a couple times together. Jump open, big open arms groove then walk 4. Do it with the feeling of celebration.

First move: OTS arms open and close – Stand on the spot, let your arms gently open big and softly close, do this a couple of times. Breathe big with your arms. Chest up, big soft arms (you have time to open and close 3-5 times). Nice and slow. Add expression and style. (Don’t worry about the timing, let them find their own timing with their arms). Do it how you want, open and close in your own timing. You can’t get it wrong. Your way is the perfect way.

Second move: OTS Clap – Now put your hands together and clap, start to add a celebratory feel. Keep your chest up. Add your style

Third move: Walk arms up “Himalaya”. Now walk/march and let your arms rise up on Himalaya, do it again, but can you change your direction? Add your style, feel the celebration.

Forth move: Jump arms open groove/ walk 4- Now give me that move we practiced, jump big arms open and groove, then walk 4. Do it again. Big open arms, with celebration. Put your whole body into it. Let your body dance, walk 4. Can you change your direction each time? Add your style and personality. How many ways can you open your arms big? Put some joy and celebration into it.
