Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: Yes (Hey, Hi, Hello)
Focus: External
Purpose: To get participants to connect on the dance floor in a fun, cute, silly way.

First move: Walk. Start with a walk, walk, walk to the beat. Hear that funky beat? Figure out how to have some fun with it. Bring in your head. Your arms. Explore directions. Maybe add turns. Levels. Dance it with your own funk and sass. As you pass someone, give them a little smile, or a little wave. Dance your walk. Funky and confident.

Second move: Hey Hi Hello. Now stay on the spot and look at someone and say: Hey-Hi-Hello. Someone new! Find someone new to say hi to every time. You can wave and smile – but let me hear your voice in it! Who haven’t you greeted? Like you mean it.

Third move. Two to the Side. Now two big steps to the side: down and up down and up. Two to the side and then change directions. Can you add your arms and upper body to your dance? If you want to work on legs, really bend your knees. Get your whole body dancing it. Remember you can’t get it wrong. This is your dance space.
