Pre-Teach: Yes, all three moves
Focus: External
Purpose: To increase heart rate

A great song for a wild, intense and delicious cardio and energy release!
This is a song where you need quite a lot of space to move in for it to be a really good groove.

Pre-Teach: This song has three moves that I want you to try with me:
First move is a fierce, powerful walk – walk with me 1-2, 1-2. No dancing, just a strong and focused walk. Change directions, dodge each other, pivot – really determined walking!
Now take that walk into a leap – a soft leap in the same tempo. Doesn’t have to be big strides, just focus on soft and light leaps, moving in and out through each other. If the leap is too much on your body, just go back to the walking. Last move is a stomp-and-shake. Stay on the spot, bend your knees, feet apart and start to stomp to the beat. Now shake your upper body with it. If you want to, travel as you stomp.

First move: Walk. Alright walk to the beat! It’s fierce, determined, focused and powerful.
No dancing – show me intensity in your walk. Walk like you have somewhere you need to be.
Be very aware of people on the dance floor so you don’t bump into one another.
Explore turning, changing directions and pivoting.
Is there somewhere in the room you haven’t been yet?
Move into the open spaces.
What does strong and focused look like to you?
Listen to the song and let it inspire how you move your body.
Have you tried turning yet? Both ways? What about pivoting?
Use the whole dance floor.

Second move: Leap. Take your walk into a leap now. Keep it light on your feet. Soft leaping.
Show me lots of turning and directional changes.
Move creatively in and out through each other. Use your arms as you leap.
Remember, if leaping doesn’t feel good in your body – go back to walking.
How can you use the whole space?
Have you tried pushing off a wall?
Add your breath! Breathe big – your body needs it for this one!
Keep your leaping light and soft – almost like you’re moving on a trampoline.

Third move: Stomp-and-shake. Stay on the spot and stomp to the beat: STOMP-STOMP. Bend your knees and take your feet apart. Now start to shake your upper body with it!
Give yourself permission to be wild, crazy, even chaotic!
You can’t get it wrong!
Can you shake your head? Your shoulders? Your arms and hands?
Get your whole upper body moving!
Allow yourself to express it with your voice too – scream and shout if you feel like it!
No one cares what you look like or sound like – this is YOUR dance floor! Be as wild as you want!
Only you know what feels good in your body – don’t censor yourself – give yourself permission to be wild and crazy with your stomp and shake.

Transitions:

No specific transitions to follow. You decide when you want to transition between the three moves in the song. Practice the song yourself and play with where you want to transition.

Pre-Enseñar: Si
Enfoque: Externo
