Pre-Teach: Yes, the 123-1-2 Focus: External Purpose: To get the heart-rate up and connect with a syncopation. Pre-teach: The 123-1-2. Let them know that they hear it in the song with the bambambam-bam-bam and invite them to even sing along that sound. First move: Step-touch, start on the stop but then travel your step touch around the room, creatively around each other. It may organically happen that a clap gets added. If that happens, make sure it’s creative, different levels where you’re clapping while you step-touch. Second move: 123-1-2. Make sure you let everyone know it starts with the 123 and then the 1-2. Get that house feeling into it. Dance all around the room. Add lots of arms with the 123. Even encourage them to make sound when that bambambam comes in. Really playful, add lots of turns. Third move: Slow walk pointing at head and heart that goes into a run OTS.
