First move: Slow, Quick, Quick. This whole song is just one rhythm pattern: Slow, Quick, Quick. Quick Quick is little. When you’re ready, start to add dramatic arms to the slow. Be confident and regal. Chin up. Let the music inspire the way you dance it. You can’t get it wrong. Exploring all of your directions. Have you tried a turn yet? Chest open. Dramatic. A little arrogant. Show me the shapes you can make with your arms. A little different every time, but as dramatic as you can be. Backwards. Turns. See what’s possible. Follow the feel of the music, express dramatic and regal and sometimes its soft and delicate but don’t loose the drama. Dance it your way. Sometimes it’s intense, sometimes it’s delicate. Express to the music.
