Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: Yes (the nanananana part)
Focus: External
Purpose: To experiment with foot placements and to dance to pop rap

Pre-teach: for new Groovers you may want to just to demonstrate the essence and the nananana and turn.
Give me a nanananana, change direction give me another. even more fun with someone.

First move: step tap out: super funky and groovy, step tap out in all directions and keep the coolness, to play around with movements in the shoulders and arms.

Second move: 1-2-3-tap: use your directions, you can bring this lower, put it on the face, remember the attitude, you can’t get this wrong, encourage them to move their head.
If they struggle with the 123 tap, they can also just tap out.

Third move: Dance OTS (nanananana): Focus on the arms and after each (nanananana) turn your dance in another direction, facing somewhere new.
What does the (nanananana) make you want to do in the upper body, try different ways to dance it, can lean over to each side, some folks like to jump with their turn, you can offer this option to your Groovers.
Zoom: if you are using zoom have them come and dance the nananana’s towards and away from the screen for interaction.
