Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: Yes
Focus: External
Purpose: To be playful, listen to the music for sound-play and strengthen your legs

Cool and catchy song that gets them moving.

Pre-teach: The moves need to be pre-taught. Make them do it with you, the down-and-up and the jump-and-groove, the clap is
simple, just tell them it starts with it.

First move: Clap, with the sound in the music, this can be on the spot or travelling, up to you and your participants.
Let them know to clap everywhere around their body and to play with different levels.
Maybe even look at somebody and doing it together, no clapping together, just facing each other.
Dance your clap.

Second move: Down-and-up, (2 to the side). It’s quite fast, smaller steps will make it easier, but dance it! Dance it with your whole
body,
You can try to do different things with your arms. Can you change direction each time?
Can’t get it wrong, just see what your arms can do. If you want to work your legs more, just bend and go deeper on the down.
Show me how you dance it. Put your style and flavor into it, do it your way.
v Third move: Jump-and-groove. Jump and groove, jump and groove (say it a few times to connect them to the movement)
Can you change direction each time? Use your arms with you dance. Show me how you do it your way.
Put your style and personality into it. Let your body dance.
Get your whole body into your dance. Even your head can move.
