Purpose & Focus: Interactive, Imagination

Set-up as if you’re planting a garden.
See the garden – choose a spot to plant your Gardenias.
Plant in a large flower box.
Play in the dirt, working the fingers.
See the dirt flowing and falling through the fingers.
Place the dirt from one side to the other.
Place one Gardenia bush at a time in the hole you’ve dug.
Articulating the hands and fingers put the dirt around the bushes.
Take a watering can in one hand and water in a circle, repeat with the other hand.
Water your neighbour’s plants.
Circle arms overhead to indicate sunshine.
Smell the Gardenias.
Pick one & place it behind your ear, place one in your neighbour’s hair.
Throw a Gardenia, catch a Gardenia.
Gather a bouquet of Gardenias.
