Purpose: To have fun with a song participants will know.
Pre-Teach: Demonstrate the Gangnam style move during the intro of the song. Have them do it with you. Stand legs apart, bend your knees, then a 1-2, 123 in the feet, almost like riding a horse, you can lasso or just cross your wrists over and let them be flappy.
First Move: Walk. Shoulders back. Confident. Directional changes. Around each other. Be a little goofy. You look good and you know it. Change directions. Play with your arms. Over the top. Confident but a little goofy too. Moving through the space.
Second Move: OTS March (clap optional) to Fast Feet. Faster feet. Super fast. Get ready. Here we go!
Third Move: Gangnam Style. OTS legs wide, 12-123 & Bounce Hands together in front. You can play with the arms. Get your lasso out. As goofy as you can. Can you change your direction? Show me your Gangnam style. Maybe do it with someone.
Fourth Move: Sexy Walk – Gangnam combo, “Hey, sexy lady” walk 4, Gangnam style 2xs. (1-2,123) You’ve got this. Change your direction each time. Show me your sexy confident style. You can even touch your body on the “Hey sexy lady”, You can be goofy and a bit crazy on the Gangnam style.
