Pre-Teach: you need to get your class in a circle and explain your are going to be coming into the middle and going back out. Demo a Swing your Partner and make sure to talk about being gentle with each other and if people want to swing all alone that is fine
Focus: External
Purpose: Interact and have fun while working on agility and patterns Coaching Note specifics – use as many moves as needed.
First move: Ok everyone lets make a circle! We are gonna start by bending our knees! Now lets work on some heels. Can you tap your heel in front of your, yes now the other one. Keep switching! You got this, can you try doing 2 heels in a row fast? Maybe try this combo of one heel the other heel and two heels.
Second move: Here we go moving to the middle of the circle, now moving back out and away. Lets go again. Now stay here in the circle and watch this (now demo with the student next to you a Swing your partner). Ok now back to our heels!
Third move: Swing your partner, great job! Make sure that you are switching partners, switch, switch, switch, can your switch directions with the same partner? Keep finding new friends and remember be careful with your friend you don’t want to take their arm off!
Fourth move: Option at 2:05 is to clap or stomp and clap for a little sound play and ten go back into the Swing your partner
