Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No
Focus: Both internal and external
Purpose: To warm up or cool down the body and explore the meditative feel of dancing only 1 rhythm

First move: Slow-quick-quick. Put the rhythm in your feet on the spot first. Slow-quick-quick, slow-quick-quick. Soften your knees so you allow for more movement in your hips. Soft and delicate and gentle.
When you are ready, start to travel your SQQ. You can move sideways. Backwards. You can even turn as dance your SQQ.
Have you tried turning both ways?
Now add your arms to your dance. You can’t get it wrong – just listen to the song and let it inspire how you dance and move your arms.
How softly and delicately can you move?
How gentle can you be with your movement?
Can you invite your shoulders into the dance? Maybe your rib cage too?
Explore elegance in your expression.
Have you tried adding your head to your dance?
Have you tried adding your hands to your dance?
Give yourself permission to dance this just for you, you don’t have to interact with anyone. Explore your own moving meditation.
You can also stay on the spot and play with the rhythm in different body parts. Just make the movement feel good in your body. Really allowing your breath to be full.
How good can you make it feel? Give your joints and whole body loving attention with your dance. Make it feel good.
No one can do it like you – show me how you dance it.

Transitions:
One rhythm throughout the whole song, no transitions.
