Coaching Notes:

Start with open the fort and step step through it. Encourage them to try to open it differently each time exploring levels and the space around them. At 0:27 seconds get them to strong walk with their arms around the room. Walk with pride, chin up. At 0:39 seconds (chorus) transition to third move punch punch 123. Coach them to be strong with their arms, punch in a new spot each time and maybe even hop the 123 to add a little more strength and cardio to the move. At 1:08 go back to the strong walk. Let the arms move up and down, try turning and moving in different directions. Kids love this song, so get them to sing if they know the words. At 1:40 go back to the punch punch 123 move. At 2:03 get them to punch on the spot fast. At 2:22 get them to go back to the open step step first move. Coach them to be soft with their movement and imagine walking through a sheet or curtain. At 2:45 transition back to the 2 punches and step 123 move. Do this move until 3:12 then get them to walk around the room. This song is great for the 7-11 year old group as well as family grooves. It’s good for exploring contrasting energies like soft vs. strong, plus it’s a popular song that many kids know, enjoy!
