Purpose: To warm up the body
First Move: Slow walk – Start them slow, confident, deepening the breath.
Second Move: Tempo walk – When the beat kicks in, tempo walk. Not too much in the arms; focus on the intensity of the walk.
Have them explore the whole room, touch walls, coach for directional changes, encourage them to find creative ways to navigate around each other.
Third Move: Body roll/circle – The beat drops away and keep everyone on the spot, doing really intense upper body roll or circle.
Emphasizing the words he’s singing “I’m wasted”, “I’m faded”, really expressing this in the movement on spot.
