Purpose: To warm up the body and increase heart rate.
First move: Slow motion arms. Start to move your arms in slow motion. With lots of attitude and confidence. Move your arms all around your body. Below you, above you, to the sides. Show me some cool slow motion poses in your own style.
Second move: Walk-4-dance-4. Now walk-2-3-4 and dance-2-3-4. Walk with confidence for four, now dance OTS for four. Walk somewhere new and now dance it. Play with directions and turning as you walk.
Can you make your arms dance? Can you make your head dance? What about your hips? Don’t hold back – sing along if you know it!
Remember you can’t get it wrong – show me how YOU dance it!
Is it possible to move your chest? What about your spine? You can play with some body rolls in different directions.
How can you dance this with confidence? You OWN the dance floor! You’re BACK baby!
Can you get your whole body dancing? Get your swag on!
Third move: Walk. Now walk to the beat: walk, walk, walk. Travel the room and explore all directions: sideways, backwards, turning. Is there somewhere in the room you haven’t been yet?
I wanna see you dance as you walk – like you own the club!
Lift up your arms and let them move to the music – tell a story with your hands.
Dance your walk with confidence, attitude and personality – no one can do it like you.
Sing along if you know it!
Fourth move: Throw. Now throw your arm to that sound! Three more times! Again! Lot’s of power! Like you mean it! Now 5 times quick!
