Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No Focus: External Purpose: The purpose of this track is to have FUN while also working on balance, agility, and hand-eye coordination.

First move: Scarf play, throwing and catching and juggling! The track starts with being in the circus! How can you throw the scarves? Can you throw high? Can you turn a circle and still catch it? Can you and a friend throw and catch each other’s scarves… now for real fun-Can you juggle? You can throw and catch one, two, three, more? Encourage lots of creativity and imagination with levels and what to catch with! Then Balance challenge them with a tightrope walk!

The music switches at 1:04 for the tight rope BUT you can let your group guide you in what they need. Have fun and play!

Second move: Walk the tight rope, balance, can you hold and lift a leg? Maybe you are going to lie on the tight rope…jump to switch legs… ride a bicycle… have a blast!

Transitions: 0:00 Present yourself and wave scarves then play 1:04 Tight Rope walk 1:43 Continue on Tight Rope or go back to Scarves- or both
