Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No
Focus: External
Purpose: To recover (warm up or cool down) and lubricate hips

First Move: OTS Figure 8. Start OTS, by softening the knees and let your hips make a figure 8 or side to side. Breathe. Start to warm up your hips. Gentle. Elegant. Let it feel so good. Relax and let it flow. Can you add your style?

Second Move: Slow, Quick, Quick. Now you’ll hear the rhythm, Slow, Quick, Quick. If you keep your knees bent, your hips will move. This is Latin so lots of hips. Gentle and easy. Let your arms dance too. Confident. Let your shoulders and head move gently with your hips. Delicate. Have you tried a turn? Dance it your own way. Your way is the right way.

Third Move: 1, 2, 123. A little change in rhythm. 1, 2, cha, cha, cha. 1,2, 123. Beautiful and elegant. Directions. Explore the whole space. The arms never stop dancing. Around each other. Your own way. Keep your body dancing all the way to the end of the song. Show your relaxed latin style. Let your shoulders and hips move gently with your whole body. Can’t get it wrong when you do it your way.
