Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No
Focus: External
Purpose: Deeper listening and connecting to music to nail the poses. Explore the cha-cha rhythm

First move: 1-2-cha-cha-cha. This whole song is the cha cha rhythm with some poses. The poses are very distinct and obvious.
Teach them the 1-2-cha-cha-cha rhythm with the music. You have plenty of time to help them learn it. You will go back to the cha-cha rhythm through the whole song.
Get them to say it out loud if they are struggling. Help them connect to the rhythm. Then tell them to spice it up. Put their upper body and shoulders into the dance.
Travel through the room, explore the space, your directions.
Latin flavor.. Lot’s of confidence! If they struggle with the cha-cha rhythm, let them make up their own cha-cha rhythm that feels good to them.

Second move: OTS stomp. Just stay where you are and put a small stomp in your feet. Follow the rhythm but keep your upper body confident and strong.

Third move: Pose. Make your pose confident and Latin style. Really use your arms. Explore your levels. But spice it up.
There are 2 of the poses where you will add a melt. It is obvious in the music.
