Pre-Teach: Yes, the walk-6-jump-jump
Focus: External
Purpose: To increase heart rate
Pre-Teach: Tell your participants to try this move with you before the music starts: walk-1-2-3-4-5-6 and now jump two! Again: walk with intensity and energy, and show me different ways of jumping every time.
Let them try 3-4 times, playing with the jump in different ways, adding arms and allowing the whole body to move with it.

First move: Walk. The style is reggae, chilled out, cool and confident. Coach for wide, big steps to get the reggae feel, and invite the butt to really move with it. Bend your knees and lead with your hips. Explore all your directions, even backwards. Can you get your arms and whole body into your walk? Put your style and attitude into it. Can’t get it wrong. Let your body dance your way. Super simple, just walk.

Second move: Knee wiggle into fast feet. Wiggle the knees and let is build into fast feet as the music builds. Tell them to freeze OTS feet apart and soft knees, and then wiggle them to the music. As the music intensifies tell them to put it in their feet and follow the music. Go faster and faster. You can turn, travel and or yell with the build of the music. Build the intensity. Let me see your arms involved.

Third move: Walk-6-jump-2. Here’s that move we learned. Walk 123456, jump 78. Count it with them the first 1-2 times to help them connect. Then coach for energy, intensity and use your voice to help build the party-feel in this part. Allow them to shout, yell and let loose and crazy on this part! Coach for jumping differently every time. Change your direction each time. Can you jump with a friend?
