Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No
Focus: Internal
Purpose: To cool down, relax, and potentially work on balance

First move: Arm-Arm-1,2,3. (If the 1,2,3 is hard for your participants, you can have them just walk to a new place – walk, walk). This song is soft and gentle. Listen to the music and when you hear the accent, connect Arm-Arm then 1,2,3. Let’s try it together. Arm-Arm 123. Try accenting your arms differently each time, you can do both arms at the same time or just one at a time. Show me your creativity and style. Explore your levels with your arm accents, the space below you and above you. Can you use your whole body on the accents? Do it your way, no right or wrong, all you have to do is try. Explore your directions, going backwards or sideways. Can you add grace and elegance to your movement? Add confidence to your movement.

Second move: OTS Soft Arms. (You may add the option of balance with the arms.) OTS Lift your arms gently and float them gently in the space around your body. Can you make it softer? Explore all the space around your body. Remember there is space below you, above you, behind you, and in front of you. If you want a challenge, you could lift one leg and balance as you float with your arms. This is a great way to challenge yourself. Can you infuse it with your breath? You can’t get it wrong when you do it your way. Can you play with your levels? Show me how fluidly, gracefully and elegantly you can move.
