Coaching Notes:

Pre-Teach: No Focus: External Purpose: To increase heart rate and mobilize spine

First Move: Is a peppy walk. Connect people to the 1-2 or walk-walk and have them explore the space Groove style – directions, turns, levels. Invite them to let the arms and head dance as they walk and encourage them to sing along!

Second Move: Is a pose. It happens throughout the song, nail the breaks for a really delicious groove! Twice in the song you will do three poses in a row. Inspire people to try different poses every time using their levels and sticking out different body parts every time. Use the style words cool, confident and rock star for the poses.

Third move: Is a twist. Soft knees, feet apart and twist it! Coach for getting the whole body dancing – hair moving, arms and hands dancing, and sticking the butt out. Suggest lifting a leg once in a while to try it out.

Forth move: is a clap. Connect them to the sound, and then have them DANCE it! Clapping somewhere new every time, traveling, staying OTS, clapping with a fellow groover – everything is possible.

Fifth move: Is fast feet. It only comes once, and is for just three seconds – simply yell out ’ fast feet!’ right before it appears.
