*UPDATED – new moves November 2023
First move: Breathing flow – Start OTS with a relaxed soft breath. Just listen to the music. Then when you’re ready, start to slowly lift the arms with a breath, exhale gently when you feel it. Now turn that breath into a dance. Gently lifting and lowering your arms with your breath.
Explore your whole body. Can you get your spine and your head involved. Explore your levels – the space below, the space above you and around you. Let your body dance it.
Make it soft and delicate. Can you add elegance. Relax and let it be like a meditation.
You can’t get it wrong, do it the way it feels good to you.
Let the music inspire how you move and express. Give yourself permission to flow gently and softly.
Use this movement to warm up your body, make it feel really good for you.
Second move: Slow Quick Quick – Unite them in the rhythm, Repeat it several times. Bend their knees and relax into it. Make it soft and gentle. Create a beautiful soft arm on the slow. Allow your head to move with your arms.
Can you use your whole body on the Slow, explore your levels and the space around.
Observe them to see what they need to dance and express it fully. Invite them to add their arms into the dance and coach for turns and directional changes.
Let this be your dance, relax and infuse it with your breath.
This song is great with finger lights too.
