Purpose: To experience classic Mexican music
First move: Waltz, down-up-up. Invite them to add lots of turns to their dancing.
Second move: Slow-walk, to break up the waltzing, add slow steps in between, whenever you want.
You decide when you want to switch back and forth, or your give your participants the freedom to choose whenever they want to waltz and when they want to go slow with the walk.
Maybe your people know the song, encourage them to sing along, even if it’s only for the “ayayayay” part.
Transitions:
No set transitions, let your participants decide when to go slow and when to waltz, down-up-up.
