Purpose: To mobilize hip joints
First move: Butt-dance. Soften your knees, feet apart and now make your butt dance! You can twerk it, make circles, little butt pumps, wiggles side-to-side. Or anything else your butt wants to do! Listen to the song and let it inspire your dance. It’s confident, proud and full of attitude, so give yourself permission to show off your butt-dance with pride and attitude! You can even allow yourself to be a bit naughty with it. No one can do it like you! Make it feel good too! Have you tried pumps? Circles? Twerking? Can you play with your levels? Can you get your upper body involved? Is it possible to get your head dancing too? Give yourself permission to have a party in your body!
Second move: Walk. Now walk to the beat: walk, walk, walk, walk. Lots of attitude, confidence and personality. Dance your walk and get your whole body in it. Can you tell me a story with your hands? Can you walk sideways and backwards? What if you bob your head with it? Or add your shoulders to your dance? Remember you can’t get it wrong – dance it in your own unique way and give show your dance walk like you are the queen of the dance floor! Let your walk be bouncy and cool – you got this!
