Purpose: To get all body parts dancing and elevate heart rate

Before pressing play, just quickly inform your groovers that you are going to walk 8 steps and dance OTS (On The Spot). Let them know that at some point you will ask them to do the OTS dancing with someone they stopped close to on the dancefloor. Press play.
(You may start with the interaction right away or have them dance alone for a little while before having them interact. It’s completely up to you as the facilitator.)

First move: Walk 8 & OTS Dance 8. This is the only rhythm you will be dancing for the whole song.
Start them walking for 8 counts OTS (On the Spot) and then boogie, wiggle or dance any way you want for 8 counts. Repeat a couple of times so they are all connected.
Ask them to travel their walking for a while. Invite them to focus on a different body part each time they are OTS. Ask them to really dance it with some disco attitude. Suggest to change directions whenever they walk.
Around half way through the song, (after ca. 1 minute) ask them to connect with someone else on the dancefloor next time they stop OTS, and boogie with them.
Then walk and find another person to boogie with. Continue until the end of the song.
