Purpose: To warm up the body and increase heart rate
First move is a slow walk. Start your people off with a slow walk together as a group. This only lasts for 16 seconds.
Second move is a dance walk to the beat, coming in at 0:16.
From here introduce the slow and the tempo walk to your participants. Once they feel confident with it, you can offer them a 123 to play with.
The song can be a total GROOVE-out rhythm and tempo. Give your peeps all the tools and let them make their own decisions.
You can always suggest to add arms and turns or even little interactions with other participants. It’s an uplifting and feel-good song, very playful since it is a GROOVE-out song. Have fun playing.
In the end it can be nice to re-unify them back to the tempo walk and take this move until the end.
