Purpose: To warm up the body and explore the essence of water and wave-like movements.

This song is similar to a circulation song, however instead of focusing on circles you want to focus more on the essence of water: soft, relaxed, fluid wave-like movements to warm-up the body.

Stand where you are, relax, and soften your knees. Now just listen for the water in the song. In this song, we’re going to be like water, fluid, flowy with our movements. Take some deep breaths and soften your body.

Follow the essence of the music. Start to see how softly and fluidly you can move your body. Maybe start to make some wave-like movements. Give yourself permission to let your arms move softly and fluidly around your body. Think about being fluid, soft and delicate like water. Since this song is an opportunity to warm up our bodies, see if you can allow more of your body to wave. Maybe you can see if you can get your spine to move like waves, mobilizing the hips. Explore your levels and all the space around you. Get your head to move and flow with your body, so soft and delicate. Slow and fluid. No rush. Taking all the time you wish. Let the music inspire how you move and flow. Lots of breath. See how much of your body you can get involved with the movement. Shoulders. Spine. Hips. Elbows. Wrists. Remember you can’t get this wrong. You just have to be willing to let your body move. Let it be your dance. At the end of the song, invite them to slowly make the movement come gently to a stop. Beautiful.
