Purpose: To increase heart rate and mobilize hip joints
Pre-teach: Demonstrate the ‘1-2-3-Touch your Foot’ move and get them to do it with you so you know they have understood.
Then show them the options of touching their foot in different ways – in front of the body, behind and to the sides.
Demonstrate the ‘Shuffle 123-123, OTS Heel in Front x 2’ for the chorus too.
Have them start with a ‘good ol’ country pose’, perhaps with your thumbs in your belt!
First move: 1-2-3-Touch your Foot. The ‘1-2-3’ is a vine like move in any direction followed by lifting one foot and tapping with the
opposing hand. It doesn’t matter which way they go, or if they tap their foot in front or behind, just tell them to have some fun
with it!
Second move: Shuffle 123-123, OTS Heels in Front x 2 – This move is a ‘Shuffle 123-123’ in a country style followed by OTS heels x 2
in front. Can you give me a Yeehaw!?
