Purpose: To increase heart rate and build energy.

First move: Walk. It’s peppy, fun and joyful. Lift your chest, put a smile on your face. Let your arms swing and put the rhythm in your
feet. Connect them to the rhythm, then invite them to use directions, levels, and turns, and to get their whole body involved.
Coach for personality and use the groove truths to get them inspired to dance authentically.

Second move: Skip. Now give it a bit more energy, skip and explore the space, travel, maybe even turn. Invite them to sing along and
give permission for their full expression. It’s high energy, playful and carefree. Really invite them to fly through the room and to
add lots of turns and big arms. Act like you are 4 years old, be playful and carefree. If you can’t skip just lift your knees. You
can’t get it wrong, do it in a way that feels good to you. Just smile and travel.

The last time the walking comes in, you may choose to get them all in the middle of the room, connecting and dancing together.
