*** Revised moves and coaching notes ***

Before you put the music on, get them on the spot, feet planted and taking a few breaths shifting the focus inward. They can close their eyes or gently bring a soft gaze to the ground.

First Move: Circulation/Lubrication. Nice and soft, eyes open, look around. When you’re ready to take a nice, soft, deep breath, exhale and dance it down. Focus on your breath and allow your arms to move with your breath. In your own time, in your own rhythm, allowing your body to slowly wake up. Soft, delicate movements. Let the music inspire how you move your body. Allow your spine and your head to move with your arms. This part is a little more internal. It’s your own dance. Lubricating your joints. Can you move the hips and your spine with your arms? Soft arms, soft breath. Dance it your way. You can’t get it wrong.

Second Move: Arm-Arm-123. Listen to the music, Arm-Arm-123. Accent-Arm-123. Put a little throw in that accent. Start to open it up. Explore the space. Take those arms different places. That 123 is little and soft. Explore directions, you can go backwards and even turn it. Can you get your whole body into this movement? Explore playing with levels. This is your dance, you can’t get it wrong. Add your confidence and style. Add your expression and your style. Do it in a way that feels good for you. Let your body dance it. No one can dance it for you.
